Hooked on watches at 12 Y/O, when my parents had my history teacher over. He was one of the1st American soldiers to liberate Dachau. He wore an A11, and I was hooked. Think it was an Elgin, but my father, thought it might’ve been a Hamilton. I started putting Watches on layaway as a kid, and it’s been a runaway train since. I have purchased & thinned out 50+ over the years, Keeping the Sub, a couple of G shocks, but like most, I’ve rotated through the rest. For me, the thrill is in the hunt.
