Got my first Citizen today!
Got this beautiful green Pro Master in the mail today. It was in the neat scuba tank like box. The minute hand indicated it needed charging so I have not even set it yet. Let it sit in the sunlight for the rest of the afternoon and will repeat tomorrow. I really really like it. I have been a Casio enthusiast for several years now and this is the first time I have branched out. Actually I got this one and an Orient solar quartz Chronograph at the same time so I have expanded my horizons a little.

You know I have noticed watches always look bigger in wristshots. I have a 7.25 inch wrist and this one feels right at home. I wear a lot of G-shocks and some of them are on the large side so this actually feels small in comparison.

I have a bigger wrist, but even so the watch wears smaller than you imagine. The case tapers up to the bezel and the lugs are quite short.

I am a sucker for Green. The color of the bezel on this one is my all time favorite color. I like the color combo on this one a lot. I am also big on OD green/Cadmium yellow although for the most part my watches tend to mostly be black or silver or black and silver. I have branched out a little though.

I went to U of Illinois, their colors are navy blue and orange. It so happens that the Chicago Bears have the same colors. I'm from Chicago originally.

I don't know how the Citizens have escaped my attention until now. Being a casio enthusiast I own several of their tough solar watches and have always been a big fan of quartz accuracy. The Citizens seem well built and have a very good reputation and following. The solar quartz is what sold me. It makes for a trouble free and accurate timepiece.

I think 44mm looks great!! The color is good also. I prefer a larger dive watch. Easier on the eyes.

I think these are very nice looking and the solar quartz is just an awesome set of features. Congrats. Coolest watch box ever too.

Thank you! I have really enjoyed it since I got it. In fact I bought another with a black dial. I put a bracelet on that one from Island watch on it and I wore it this afternoon and it was absolutley comfortable. I love the green dial and bezel on the first one and just really wanted one in another color way.
