Hamilton 1929 Square B

So I’ve always been a huge fan of vintage watches and I mean watches from the 1920s to the 1950s. It’s hard to find them in decent condition. Found this one from a gentleman who does nothing but restore antique wrist watches. This watch, to me, represents the great crash of 29’ and also The Great Depression all at once. Because Radium was used on this watch for lume, it has been replaced with C3. The watch had a complete service and cleaning in 2022. The dial actually changes shades depending on the light source. Check out all the details

Can I ask who removed and replaced the radium on the dial? I've been desperately seeking someone willing to do it for me.

Well the seller did this as part of the full restoration. Not sure he would just do a lume replacement however.

Good looking watch, Looks well respected in the restore.

Yes, the gentleman that does this work has actually had his watches in a current movie release due out in October. Killing Of The Flower Moon, directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert Deniro. Not bad company.

Thank you! It’s hard to find one of these B series Hamilton watches. I’ve probably been looking for it for 10 years. Course I was looking for this fully engraved version and not just the plain one.
