Does anybody else like Alpina watches?

I only own one but it’s very well made from the dial to the bezel and the sapphire crystal. Alpina has a great history too, A genuine Swiss brand that really delivers due in part to their association with Fredrick Constant. Now owned by the Citizen group, but they’ve been in the industry for more than a hundred years. I always look at the details for the money spent. Here’s my Seastrong that I paid much less than a grand for.

Don’t have one nor have I looked at Alpina. But 300M WR is awesome for under $1k

Yes, love the startimer pilot 🤩 Just one problem for me, they dont make watches small enough that i can pull them off or at least the watches they do make small enough are branded quite heavily towards women 😅🤔

Right, I have seen some very nice vintage ones that would be great dress watches.

A great brand, make some lovely watches and i dare say a bit of a sleeper brand.

A great looking and also sporty watch that will work for any occasion!👌And also a Sea Strong and always has been Swiss made since day one.

I have got one too. I am really happy with it. 😊

·

Not had one yet but yes. I'm hoping to get the Extreme later in the year.

I'm heavy into pilot's watches. IWC and Breitling been out of my price range and Seiko not really releasing many Automatic Pilot watches I bump into Alpina and I love their Startimer line up and their divers are quite good as well and unique in their own way.

I‘ve had two Startimers so far and really liked what I got for my money. The Chrono was sold for an IWC Chrono and the three hander I broke unfortunately

·

They used to be better known when I was a kid back in the 60's.

·

They appeal to me aesthetically and often catch my eye when I’m browsing … but they generally seem to be on the larger size (some are huge) so nothing doing so far as generally too large for me.

·

Alpina’s are great watches. Wearing this one in today’s WRUW.

Was lucky enough to pickup this Titanium Startimer pilot during the Alpina Community watch build a couple of years back.

And my Alpiner 4 which was my first foray with the brand.

Love the Seastrong Heritage. Have it on my wish list 🎯

Thanks for all the action folks! I think many of the brand’s offerings are top shelf for the money.👍

I just ordered a Alpina Startimer Pilot Automatic Matte Dark Blue 44M in stainless steel yesterday. Looking forward to its arrival in 2 weeks.

·

The Startimer will be my next Alpina, if I find a good deal on one.👍

·

I like theyr Alpiner line, especially the Extreme Automatic. They are really unique. I wouldnt mind the Quarz varaitns also. But sadly, theyre too expensive for me right now, maybe in the future.

·
