Came across this fake swatch collaboration with Lange's Zeitwerk
Just to be clear, this is clearly fake. I don't want to be the cause of any unfounded rumors. All credit to Luxury Bazaar.
This popped up in my IG as I was searching for pics of a future potential purchase, Lange's Zeitwerk, an incredible piece of watch making. I thought this looked hilarious and ridiculous.
I have the moonswatch and thought they were super cool and fun. I would've gotten the swatchpain if I didn't have the moonswatch already. Half of me wants to see what else comes out of this very scalable platform and half of me doesn't want disposable watches to proliferate.

Avid watch wearer, not collector. Like my children, I love all of my watches equally, but I love my Lange the best.

Swatch Group being Swatch Group, a Swatch x Glashütte Original collaboration seems much more likely. Neither the Moonswatch nor the Swatchpain speak to me, but a PanoSwatch would certainly be tempting.

A GOswatch would be cool, but which one? A panomatic? Hmm, maybe a SwatchQ (seaQ).
Actually, everyone says swatch would keep it in group (true so far), but I wouldn't put it past them to do a cross-company collaboration and get xx% of revenue for additional sales of the original.
I have a Seestern S434 (SeaQ homage) as my beater, but an affordable SwatchQ Panorama Date would be great. Otherwise I'd love a SwatchPanoReserve.
Haha! I’ve avoided the moonswatch and swatchpain, but If they came out with swatch zeitwerk I would definitely be one of those guys standing in line waiting for them to open the doors.
Roman is a sharp guy when it comes to watches. I remember when he was telling people like 3-4 years ago, the zeitwerk is a sleeper watch and to pick it up. I miss those episodes of what’s on my desk.

n 2019-20, people weren’t looking at these. They weren’t trading anywhere near where they’re trading nowadays.
I hate myself for saying that I’d buy the shit out of that even if I think a Lange and Swatch collab is very unlikely. I saw a lot of hate on the Moonswatch, but Lange and esp certain watches from Lange are firmly outside of the price point of the majority of collectors whereas an Omega is much more common (and is something that isn’t crazy to save for or earmark for a milestone if money is an issue). Only thing though is nobody besides watch collectors and enthusiasts really know about Lange . . . And I don’t see the upside for Lange at all at their price pts and image. There wasn’t really an upside for Blancpain either in terms of the kind of sales bump the Speedmaster Pro got.

Im interested to see if blancpain does indeed get a bump. I think there will be lots of increased awareness and interest but only a bit of sales bump.

Haha, I hear you. It's just so ridiculous that it made me want to laugh and share it. I love the zeitwerk, so I have to do whatever it takes to get the real oneñ
