Could this be the best value for money vintage reissue?

I decided on the 36mm, but aside from the 17mm lug width I don't think its too small. I definitely wears smaller than a regular 36 but not so much that I can't pull it off!

What do you think? (Link)

Love the size 👍 Looks great. Would be better without the date IMO.

·

Thanks man! Yeah I kind of agree with you on that one

I’ve found that a 36mm without a bezel wears perfectly on my 6.25” wrist. The addition of a bezel on a 36mm watch makes it wear a little too small fully my taste. The Divers 65 is always on my radar though.

Looks good!

All the Certina re-issues are seriously good for the money.

I reckon Oris are over priced (at retail). Fine watches, great bracelets and great design - good on wrist too but pricey for what they are - at least in my opinion.

Definitely worth it - the re-issues are a good place to start.

The p/matic 80 has its flaws - no doubt, but there's an anti-mag Nivachron spring in the ones Certina use and the finishing and (in particular) the dial furniture is outstanding.

I only paid a little over $500 for mine (grey market and ~ 5yrs ago) with an OEM mesh and nato so the value was outstanding.

I tried it on once, it wears a touch on the small side for me but thought it looked really cool. I'd want to try it on a nato. I find 36mm to be a great size in general though.

Big fan of the powermatic 80 movement - I've owned a PRX, Hamilton Khaki Auto 38mm and Mido Ocean Star and all have been outstanding

It’s a great watch - possibly shading on the small size for me.

I love my 39mm especially the taper on the bracelet and the subtle gold touches (rather than full on bling). And I do prefer the colour matched date at the 6 position.

Mine’s a keeper for sure.

Yeah, my experience has been similar and five + years on the DS PH200-m is running well with single fingers of deviation. Doubt I'd bother servicing it though, but I'm attached to the watch so I'd definitely replace the movement.

·

Obviously deeply personal, but I'd rather have my Seiko MM200 GMT for less money 😅 (if you consider it a vintage re-issue, although it's more of a modern take).
