Breguet 7147

Had fun at the AD with these absolute stunners. One of those pieces that make you consider selling them all just for this one. Off center sunken small seconds within the enamel dial; 6mm hight; gorgeous movement: Case closed.

Some deep discounts from Japan on Chrono too.

I'm already too deep, aren't I? I fear it's only a matter of time at this point...

Very nice! ❤️

The most overlooked aspect of this watch is the dial: It is a wonderful canvas of pure white grand feu enamel which is acquired through multiple firings in an 800-degree+ kiln. Once the dial is all-set, the Breguet-style numerals are delicately placed over the top, suiting perfectly against the white enamel beneath.

Mine says hello (aquired in 2018 when this model was initially released)

Beautiful watchmaking 👌🏻

·

so Damn Classy!

·

Those are a look back a hundred years in design.

·

WOW, love the look of these!

·

Pure perfection 👌 It’s criminal how under-appreciated and under-leveraged Breguet seems to be within the Swatch hierarchy.

·

Beautiful! I always loved any sort of enamel dial. There’s a certain glow about them that I can’t quite describe depending on how natural light falls upon it

·

I only have two enamel dials, both RR dials.

·

Beautiful watch.

I have to go and see that one in the flesh. I love the guilloche dial (and I’d love to find a used Breguet at a decent price), but the white one doesn’t impress me that much, at least in pictures.

So you prefer the white dial to the guilloche dial?

I've definitely seen guillochet dials from Breguet that I love but I don't really like the pattern on the subdial for this reference. I know, I have issues. But my new watch philosophy is "it's gotta be perfect (to me)".
