Another hit from Christopher Ward?

Christopher Ward just dropped the C60 Pro 300 Bronze and it looks like an absolute winner. What’s everyone think?

I think it looks great, but at 42mm, I wonder how it would wear on my 6in wrist

CW generally brings out various sizes so I wouldn’t be surprised to see a smaller version before long. 42mm is perfect for me, so I’m pretty excited about this one 😍

I just don't find myself connecting with CW designs for some reason. I've handled a few and they are undeniable good quality watches at fair prices, but smaller brands have had to scrape by and attempt to create original AND good looking watches.

In a sense, they have to be similar enough to iconic watches for us to make the connection but different enough so as not to he homage pieces. That essentially leaves them in a middle ground where entry level offerings from more established brands sit.

For example, I really liked their military field watch line. It was cool looking, and appeared well finished. But the CW twist on it didn't do it for me personally. Especially when watches like the Khaki field line exists for similar/less money.

I am by no means saying I dislike Christopher Ward, although this comment does seem largely negative. My point is that while I like the quality, the current design language doesn't speak to me enough for me to pull the trigger.

All that being said, I think this watch is going to be a hit. The case construction, finishing, and material all scream hit to me. Maybe the 42mm size will be a drawback to some, but I think they'll sell the hell out of these!

If you have the needed wrist size to rock it, just go for it!

·

Reminds me of the Longines Spirit Zulu Time. 🤔 Which is not necessary a bad thing, because I absolutely love the look of that watch.

·

I like it. Looks excellent. I wish they started using more SW300 for their fancy variants, like with the Twelve.

·

I’m in the market for a CW and a bronze watch and this looks beautiful! However too much brown, I’d love to see some more dial colors and maybe even a 38-39mm

·

I love it except for the size at 42 mm.

I have a 39 mm Sealander GMT and due to the dial/bezel ratio, it wears closer to 40mm. To be more specific, it's the slim bezel.

But damn this bronze 300 is a looker, bravo yet again Christopher Ward.

Seriously considering buying this but I'm torn about the brown dial. Seems like it would seriously limit strap choices.

·

I think it looks really good. I it is a color way I would not have given gone out of my way to look at from the description but am drooling at from the picks I have seen.

·

Make it a 38mm then yes. Otherwise, it looks good on promo material but wears too big to my current taste!

·

That's a looker.

Looks nice but how does it feel on the wrist?
