First Watch Strap Complete

It's a little "rustic", but I just completed my first functional watch strap.

It was fun to make, but definitely harder than it looks, especially for someone who is completely new to leather working. Tolerances around the lugs are sub-millimeter, and every hole/cut is permanent. It wasn't until my third attempt that I got something that is both usable and presentable.

A few days ago, I saw a post by @Mike_2 called "Other Ways to Engage with the Hobby". In it, he discusses how he combines his passions for watches in drawing. To follow up on that thread, I guess my passion for watches has gotten me into leather working.

For those who are interested Corter Leather on Youtube has some helpful tutorials, as well as a video on tools required for beginners.
