Longines Zulu 39mm Special Occasion

The birth if my first child is soon to come. I've decided to commemorate it with a special timepiece. Should I get his birthday engraved in the case back or inside when he is born?

Absolutely!

And congratulations! New life is a blessing. ❤

·

Engrave it on the outside as you’ll never get rid of the watch…and you’re going to pass it when the time comes.

·

Agree with the comment above, yes it's a super special event and the watch has got to be the ONE watch. And congratulations best wishes to you both.

All of the above

Every time you feel those engraved markings your heart will tingle just a bit. It is a tactile reminder of this singular moment in time.

·

Yes! What a wonderful way to celebrate the occasion! ❤️ congrats on your growing family!

Many thanks.

Congratulations🤗🥳

May i ask your wrist size? It fits you perfectly. Trying to guage if i should order the 42 or the 39. I have a 7 inch wrist. ☺️

·

I say go for it! Why not?

·

Congratulations on the birth of your first child!! Also, to answer your question, do whatever you want! It's your watch

·

In hindsight, I wouldn't have had mine engraved. Or, I would've bought it with a second case back. You just never know.

Congrats, Dad!

·

Congratulations that’s a much nicer watch than the cheap Casio beater I got when my son was born. Personally I’d get the caseback engraved as that’s a nice thing to show and the caseback is an easier place to do that.

We are all in different seasons of life my friend. A casio is always a God tier watch IMHO. I have 2 of em!

Definitely get it engraved on the caseback. At least you can see/feel the engravings (as @SimonB mentioned). Great piece to hand down once they are older.

Thanks!

Congratulations x 2 ( son + watch)

This is one of the watches on my list. It's a beauty! Congratulations on the new baby and the new watch.

·

Congratulations on both counts. A fantastic choice (i'm biased because I have one)!

·

Probably the case back. Congratulations on the watch and more importantly congratulations to you and your family!

Definitely worth it. Pics don't do it justice.
