An excellent analogy here would be Vera Wang. I once saw an interview about her first release into a department store. She said "I came to the realization that I can sell 100 dresses a year and make 5k each, or I can sell 10 million and make $20 each." Is Vera Wang still appearing on red carpets? No idea, I don't watch those shows, but I am assuming not. But....she is also making a lot more money. Brands have to make the choice.
I love watching watch review videos, but I have noticed lately that more and more 'reviewers' are moving into the watch sales space. IMO that makes you a marketer, not a reviewer. Getting a free watch out of a micro-brand is one thing, but making a top-ten list that only contains the watch brands and models that are all currently available on your website? I take it with a meteorite sized grain of salt.

Short answer is no, I can't look past what I perceive to be a bad logo.
Longer answer, for the Hautman watches, I think the logo looks much better on the aviator watch as it matches the numeral font better and looks OK on the sport model. I think it looks awful on the burnt earth model, but then again I think that whole dial is rather flat and off putting.

Add me to the Longines camp, mainly for the already mentioned reason of the white date wheel. The more and more I see it the more I dislike it. On a $100-500 watch, sure ok, cost cutting measure. On a $1k+ watch? deal breaker.
I recently received the pre-owned watch my wife and I agreed to purchase for me for Christmas this year, and inspected it and returned it to the packaging so she could wrap it. I briefly thought about swapping in one of my current watches, as she wouldn't have noticed...but I was a good boy.
