Studio Underd0g Watermelon 2.0 Unboxing
This past October at WindUp I had the pleasure of meeting Richard Benc, the one-man machine behind Studio Underd0g. I had no idea he would be doing booth work at Windup, but that is the beauty of attending. I was pleasantly surprised by how many founders/designers I had the chance to talk to, be it Richard, Nicholas of Fears, or Peter aka @TimeToDesign of Jack Mason. Talking with these folks made you want to support them and that was the case with Studio Underd0g. Never mind the fact these are quite hard to get one's hands on at the moment.
DHL was kind enough to drop this off on a Sunday so I will spend the week wearing it and will get back to folks, but figured I would take some quick unboxing photos. Similar to my initial hands-on, this feels like a solid piece and it falls within my objective of only getting fun watches this year. The dial is all that and a bag of chips. I will be interested to see if anyone comments on it in the wild. Stay tuned!

You got it Jerome! It was a lucky acquisition. They haven't had a window open in a while and he happened to be handing pre-order cards out at the show.
