We need power for emergencies

I bought a Grand Seiko and love the design. Turning mechanical energy into electrical energy to power a quartz. During power outages, emergencies - we could use a similar kind of device that will charge a rechargeable battery. That could then be used to re-charge a phone, radio or something else. I wonder if we can talk Grand Seiko to build a spring drive charger not far from the watch. But much bigger. I just think that would be cool.

It would work on a constant supply of earthquakes. Small trade off.  :-)
