I noticed the screw down crown on my Grand Seiko does not stay screwed down. I usually don't tighten this super tight but I am going to have to change that behavior.

Always push in the crown and turn a little counter clockwise before turning clockwise to tighten. This helps to prevent cross threading.
What model number is that?
Are you sure your screwing it fully home, it takes about 5 full turns to screwdown fully
Beautiful
It could be a stripped thread or a loose stem tube.
I am pretty sure the crown comes loose by rubbing on my wrist while I wear it. I don't tighten it very tight.
