I like the Apple Watch. It's part of my rotation. I use it often to monitor my sleep. I am able to use the watch to keep me focused. Easy to set alerts when cooking. I use the Apple Watch to control my smart drive.

It's a watch that will atrophy. There are watches that are still working today, doing their respective job that are over 30 years old. But all of this is a rich people conversation. We are fortunate to have so many choices.
Great post. I like field watches and the 24 hour dials. I think a watch needs to be durable and accurate. Water proof enough that you can fall in water and your watch is not ruined. Owning watches is fun and sometimes I don't keep them wound and running. So now I have to change the date and time. So I am liking watches without date complications. I want an accurate watch that is durable and does not require a lot of attention. Love my grand seiko - but that is not a field watch. Love my Apple Watch ultra 2 and I put a field watch face on it.
But this is stuff that makes the whole watch conversation so much fun.
The Hamilton closed at 360. The strap was not super but the point is the market is willing to pay about 360 for a used Hamilton Champagne. Better than the 650 brand new. So we will see.
I agree. They both have a cool story. I lost a timex field watch and gave up and bought another. Then found the original that I lost. They are both a little different and I like them both. Yup $35 bucks worth of watch. Then I got a $1k apple ultra 2 and put the field watch face on the Apple Watch. Still cool to have and use as part of my collection.
