Jewelers going out of business
In Houston I noticed Ben Bridge closed its store in the Galleria. Also a long time favorite called IW Marks is also closing. IW always seemed to be overpriced. But Ben Bridge seemed to be a reasonable price place. Maybe things are just changing / consolidating. Have you noticed watch shops / jewelry stores closing?

I think the overall trend has been away from jewellery for some time, and those who do buy seem to be going with online stores more and more.
I suspect the costs of running a jewellery store are quite high compared to most "normal" brick and mortar stores as well.
Sadly, yes. I know the Galleria in Houston and Dallas, are you referring to the one in Houston ?
Such great watch dealers in previously fully occupied great malls seem to have never recovered from Covid. Buying in person is clearly a better experience than buying on-line. For me, I would pay the difference for the experience of having the bracelet sized (without me scratching links) and confidence that comes from buying from an actual store that is an authorized dealer.
