Just finished this refurbishment on a vintage Ricoh Ocean Diver. Super compressor style with the internal rotating bezel. Also complete with its original and signed metal band. I don't use the term restore here because I did not rebrush or polish the case. All it needed was a strip, clean, and relube. I had been looking for one of these for a long time and am thrilled with it. The gear that rotates the internal bezel has 2 broken teeth. So I am still working to replace or repair that but that won't stop me from wearing it now!

Whats the 5 to the left of Friday?
It is a day wheel that also tracks the number day of the week. With Monday being 1 (first day of the week) and Friday being 5 (the fifth day of the week) for example. A number of Ricohs have this although as far as tracking day and date I don't fund the numbered day of the week necessarily all that useful.
Fine looking watch. Classy
