I recently bought a used fortis that was really cool and totally my thing - sadly the seller was dishonest about the movement and watchmaker confirmed that the watch desperately needs a service.
At least now he’s honest about it and will take it back. But I sold a lot of watches I didn’t wear that much and I want one watch I can daily wear. I thought about a sugess seaman as it’s relatively cheap but really good quality, but I already have a diver and I want something more like a Flieger.
I’m a bit at a loss right now what my options are and what I should consider, so I thought I’d ask here!
What I am looking for:
good lume
Automatic
Flieger Style, Aviation/Military themed
Max 41/42mm diameter and 20mm lug width
Decent build quality
Thin (less than 12mm is desired)
Used or new, does not matter
Also does not matter where is made
Budget is around 300€
Thank you for any hints!

Laco!
Miyota movement (decent , tough & reliable)
, plenty of character,
Mil-spec ww2
Authentic historical brand, (German)
I'd argue they're iconic (over used word in the watch space, I know 😂)
Superb lume ( full second hand too)🌞
Around your budget 👍🏻
I've got one so I'm speaking from experience. I don't wear it often tbh,(lots of competition in the watchbox 😂) but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend one.
Take a look at JP Custom watches on Instagram , he does some really neat looking Fliegers and they are right on budget.

Laco or Stowa. These are original Flieger watches from WWII. You can do quite a bit of customizing to get exactly what you want.
