Not quite but close! Fun at work would be „Arbeitsspass„ made out of „Arbeit„ (work) and „Spass„ (fun). it’s closer to „Arbeitsplatz„ which means „place of work“. As someone else already said its not german but Norwegian and sounds fairly similar to German.
I have a caseback opening tool for Rolex style from Ali Ex and that works fantastic. Was about 20 bucks and took a bit more than a week to get to me. Especially with tightly screwed backs it’s the only thing that works.
I've lusted after that exact same Steinhart for months, still kind of do... the new Seiko 5 GMT would be a great fit in your budget. It has a 42,5mm diameter which might sound large but the lug to lug distance is really short for this sort of diameter and it fits just like a 39/40mm Sub/GMT Master homage like this one. You can't go wrong with Seiko
What I really enjoy about this one are the color scheme and the carbon bezel.
Btw: If you want a spec monster for a very low price, check out Pagani Designs GMT. They are very close to the GMT Master II as well. Very good finishing for the price and great materials (everything solid, stainless steel, sapphire, ceramic) and the only "downside" is the cheap chinese movement. Honestly I will just swap the movement for a new one if mine acts weird 😀
I actually like Chinese brands in terms of bang for the buck since you get solid stainless steel pieces with Seiko/Miyota automatics, saphire crystal, ceramic bezels etc. for under 100€! only downside is that you mostly find homages in this category but I don’t mind that… I know there are some that don’t like it.
good luck to everyone with the longines! Handsome watch, would love it!
