Takes a licking, but keeps on ticking!

The new TIMEX MARLIN “mod”. I love the throwback 60’s vibe. The blue hands really pop (the picture doesn’t do it justice)..the Marlin etched on the back and the display circle “window” in the back, make this a very fun piece. Add the classic “S.B. Foot tanning co.” Timex leather band…makes this a very comfortable, everyday, watch! Does anyone know how to change the date on this thing!?

Date setting should be the standard quickset via the crown.

I tried that. I tried pulling out the crown one little click, like I do with my Bulova. It didn’t work. I am really stumped.

Wait a minute. I just tried again and it worked! I had to pull ever so slightly…there was barely a little “click”…on the Bulova..it was more pronounced. But I am good now. Thanks.

The date positionis as vague as on their quartz watches? I've resorted to just spinning the crown while jimmying it in and out until the date moves. The time can be reset afterward.

I've long advocated for 24 hour (or AM/PM) dials on watches with calendars to prevent unintended noontime date changes. Perhaps the red hand is a bit much.
