Just browsing online, I noticed Accurist have had a bit of a re-brand, changing the font on the logo, and launching a new collection, making a big deal of their heritage.
The Origin Collection particularly caught my eye, due to it's similarity with the Tissot PRX's - that angular 70's style. Any thoughts?

Obviously, these are at a lower price point the Tissot.

I think I'd advise saving up for a quartz PRX. I handled it in the metal and the finishing on it is simply beautiful. Looking at photos on the Accurist website, I'd definitely choose the PRX over that.
Yes I noticed these the other day, I like the green dial version very much. It's £209 on their website which is too much for me unless I find it elsewhere cheaper. They have some attractive designs though .
If the origin is heavily homaging other brand watches then I don't accept that ORIGINality.

They have a picture of one of their own watches from the 70s and the new one is very similar, so I think they'd claim it's a homage of their own rather than the Tissot.

Agree. The quartz PRX's are very reasonably priced, so I'd stump up the extra. The PRX Chrono though is much more expensive, although admittedly an automatic. The Accurist chrono looks very similar for a lot less cash.

I don't know. For me they have much more Tissot or Zenith then their own 70s watch. I understand them. It's simple and hypy. I just think that chinese manufacturers are more honest in this case homage is homage and not brand heritage
I like the rebrand, but they need to widen their selection. They have woken up to the realisation that Ali express and China are going to steal their lunch.
Had a look through the new stuff and nothing jumped out at me as a must have.
Although I did see a lot of their older pieces on clearance as a result and grabbed this little retro chrono for next to nothing at H.Samuel 😁

That's nice! I might have to pop into town :)
