I'm falling in love with #christopherward. The brand continues to prove their innovative approach and style language as one of the most influential and interesting independents. I love so many of CW's releases including the #dune, #belcanto, and limited edition version of the #sealander.

CW seems to be a brand that's making a lot of very smart moves. Within the last year they have released the Bel Canto, and a few months before that they released a thinner, and less expensive version of their flagship C60 Trident.

They have a bit of something for everyone, while also managing to maintain signature design elements like the light catcher case, and handset.

They have some of the most original and striking designs I've seen from any brand! Love CW.

The SH21 movement sounds terrific. The site says it was created in 2014: why hasn't it been in most of their watches?

It's big, and it's expensive to make. CW's bread and butter is nice, but affordable watches. If they tried moving up market too early or too fast they'd lose the customers who keep the lights on.

Makes sense - thanks!

Love Christopher Ward. I am lucky enough to own 4 and I'm by no means done yet. In terms of bang for buck I'm not sure that they can be beaten, although I guess Tissot and Hamilton enthusiasts might like to quake stake their claim.

My trusty Trident Pro is on my wrist, probably 4 days from 7 and I would easily choose it ahead of my much pricier and 'prestigious' Tag Heuer as a desert island pick. It's a better watch and, more importantly, it makes me happier wearing it.

Love that you mention the happiness that it brings you. That's the whole point!

I'm wearing the snow leopard version today, and it's an amazing watch - quickly becoming one of my favorites.

And their SH21 movement is no joke - I set it when I received it (almost 2 weeks ago), and haven't had to unscrew the crown since - it's currently less than two seconds off. The watch even sat on my shelf for 4 days over the weekend and still showed almost 3 days power reserve.
