I saw your post about getting this Santos and you were so stoked back then. I watched a lot of reviews of the Santos and went to try it on. I was like this is not for me, plus I realised the bezel is a smudges and scratches magnet. Also, the dial looked too bland for me, I went with a Tank Must XL on bracelet for 1/2 the price and couldn't be happier.
I could relate to your sentiment in this case, owning something secondhand for 4K+ vs owning something new for 3.5K, and the Tudor BB is one heck of a watch! You're not wrong in this case, selling this Santos is a no brainer.
For me, I would never buy a secondhand watch because I love the feeling of unboxing something exciting and totally brand new. You only have 1 wrist (to wear watches), it deserves much better.
And if I ever get a Santos it would be a Santos Dumont 2 tones.
I reckon the He valve is a part of their design language. If you don't like it, don't buy it.
I just bought the blue dial, and this thing is an absolute beau on the wrist, even too sexy for my wrist LOL.
