Thoughts on this watch?

I am really interested in this Citizen automatic. Are there any experiences that you have with Citizen automatic watches?

I like it, it's different but it's safe 😅. I don't have too much experience with Citizen automatics but I too have been wanting to get one.

It is a nice looking watch, but it does have the 8210 caliber movement, which can have a noisy rotor.

Thoughts on the watch? Too much going on for my taste.

I actually quite like it. Miyota movements can have loud rotors, but the ones I’ve had have been very reliable so far.

Pilot hands always get a 👌🏻 from me.

Hopefully the bezel is bidirectional, actually using it for it's intended purpose would get hella old, hella fast if it's unidirectional 😆.

Love the, we-snuck-in-a-date-window-and-kept-most-of-the-three-but-didn't-feel-like-color-matching-it....👀🤏🏻😅.

What's the L2L?

The automatic Citizen watches I have (mainly Tsyosas) are totally acceptable, much better movements that Seiko. Maybe that is because Seiko does not regulate their movements in the factory. BTW, Miyota is Citizen's in house movement maker (i.e., the Swatch Group equivalent of ETA). I add that the micro brands I have that use Miyota movements are also good. I do not see an issue with automatic Citizen watches.

Aesthetically, that is up to your taste. Personally it is OK.

I have chased this one a bit! Actually saw it at my recent stop (I'm across the river from NYC) the Citizen Flagship Store in NYC this past week. It's using the 8210 movement, when I saw it in the store, my first thought was - This must be a new one w/ new Eco movement on display! - but when I asked about movement they confirmed it was the 8210. I like the layout, but want the Eco-Drive option for it... I sway back and forth whether to just grab the auto... Or keep my Citizens in their lane, solar "set it and forget it" tools. Either way, it certainly has presence and looks great.
