Watches & travel

Who else takes a travel bag of watches with them when they travel? This was my mini-collection on my recent trip to Delhi.

Watch 1: Bell&Ross BR 03-92 blue diver with a jeans material strap by Gunnystraps

Watch 2: Limited Edition TokyoStudio Tiff blue dial Casioak G-shock

Watch 3: REC watches TTT icon 1000

Watch 4: Junghans Max Bill Chronoscope with a Delugs strap.

What watches do you take when you travel?

Just one, and it depends. Usually one I won’t go crazy over if I lose it or it gets wrecked, etc.

Nice to see a REC in the mix👍

I normally bring 2-3 watches. The SARB035 is always one of them.

Depending on the trip. If it's business, I may choose to bring two. If it's leisure, I usually bring one.

I used to love to travel with a small collection. Something sporty for the day and something classy for the night. I have a WOLF roll that also has a center tube that my wife would use to bring extra jewelry. With Watch crime being at an all time high, based on where I’m going, I’ll only bring the watch on my wrist.

I usually take 2-3 watches for domestic travel. A diver, a field watch and a GMT. International trip is only one GMT..

I only travel with one watch; bringing several feels too nerdy to me. (No offense intended towards my fellow watch nerds!) When I went to Europe last summer, I wore a Lorier Neptune IV. When I visited my in-laws in Japan after Xmas, I wore a JDM Orient Kamasu (shown below, with some tatami in the background). I’m heading to Portland, OR in a couple of weeks and plan to wear my new Junghans Max Bill. There is rarely any logic behind my choices, I just grab whichever one I feel like bringing at the moment, although it’s kind of obvious why I brought the JDM Kamasu to Japan.
