Vario 1945 A11 and D12 expansion

I'm thinking of expanding our 1945 D12 Auto and A11 Solar range. Please help me with this survey and hopefully we get enough numbers to make it happen. Thanks!

IMO the 37mm is the perfect size. I suppose a 34mm would be interesting but would still choose the 37mm.

If you meant the solar shown in photo, we're using Miyota and we're pretty much restricted by the movement size and can't deviate too far.

Like pretty much everything about the D12 but no more Miyota 8 series movements for me.

I agree with CliveBarker1967, 37mm great size,. IMO 34mm too small and 40 perhaps too large (without trying on my wrist)

I wished Miyota 9 have a small seconds. They do have a 24 subdial that I can use to cheat. Either that or I push the price upwards and put in a Selitta.

Photo above is 40mm on my puny 6" inch wrist

Appreciate the conundrum.

Definitely don’t cheat with a 24 hour sub dial.

What sort of % price increase would the Sellita bring with it? As I think part of the challenge is that anything that puts it up too much brings other watches into play and also puts the Timor onto the horizon. Commercially it might not make sense.

While I have a couple of nicely designed watches that do contain 8 series Miyotas (including your trench watch), the design positives are significantly overshadowed by the movement noise. I personally have drawn a line in the sand with the 8 series but I have no feel for how widespread that feeling is.

I'll be close to Vaer and Timor and hence I chose the Miyota 82s5 to be closer with MWC and Draken. I'll definitely put a Swiss into my Trench earlier than D12.

I personally think 35 is too small and 40 is too big for the solar but I went with the 40mm option.
