I really like the ultimate duo. I am indifferent to the Cartier.
i had the steel plate (Large), it was a little too big & a little too boring. The medium that I have now is the perfect size in my humble opinion. It should fit most wrists. In terms of choosing between the steel or the double dial, I would say you definitely get more watch with the duo - for the $.
