One thing that I ran into difficulty with on the NATO website, was that not all sizes had all color options; I had a 20mm strap in Navy & Cream that my wife loved, but her watch had a 16mm band, and that color scheme is not offered in 16mm.

To me, that's plain ridiculous. All colors should be available on all size bands. If the demand isn't high enough, then keep a minimum amount on hand, and produce them on demand when your supply runs out. But don't exclude the size completely, just because it's a less-popular size.

If you guys are doing this, then you're ahead of the curve.

I order all my straps in custom sizes and custom details. All my wife’s straps are a custom short length that fit her perfectly. I also specify a single wide keeper instead of a floating keeper.

In your example above, I would not order that strap because I cannot select a specific length for the strap.

I would also not consider that example because of the price. I buy fantastic quality straps with my custom specifications for around $40-45 each.
