Best/favorite quartz 'beater' watch (besides G shock)
What's your favorite quartz 'beater' recommendation?
I know, the G shock is the GOAT/God tier (I quite like this casioak), but I'm looking for some more creative options. Bonus points if the watch has bright color options or fun visual features, but it still needs to be tough, accurate, and relatively affordable.

Citizen Promaster divers. Or Casio duro.
Timex, Bertucci, Casio(non GShock), Momentum: All are well built and inexpensive tool watches...can get a great watch for under $100
This is my new favorite. Funky and functional. And pretty rugged it seems. It did handle shacky downhill an terrible washed out gravelroads for a day straight and it has 100m WR. The brand got a solid reputation.

If you’re looking for a non-G-Shock beater, I recommend a Seiko. Great watches. Very robust. Offer something with a bit more personality for a little more money.
