Replacing the Seiko SSK GMT clasp
Hi, I like to keep the jubilee on my Seiko SSK001 but don’t like the seiko-labeled clasp (very outdated looking) and like to know if i can replace it with any aftermarket deployment clasp.

I’ve got a ratchet deployment clasp on mine. Love it. Perfect fit. Only around £30. You can buy them from lots of places online. Mine is from a place in Holland because they have one with slightly smaller dimensions.
I'm going to be snobby, drink wine with my pinky out, and call it a deployant clasp.😂

The extension mechanism has been a real game changer for this summer. 👌
The double push button clasp are really nice and easy to swap with Seiko bracelet.

Thank you for the great advice. What size is compatible with ssk? 20mm or 22mm. Looks like the bracelet tapers from 22mm, does it get to 20 at the clasp level ?

Thanks again! Looks like what you got is 18 mm, is it accurate? If so, the 22mm at the lug takers to 18 at clap level?

You should take a ruler to confirm. Take the measurement at the last link before the clasp.
