Is there any story to how you bought this watch? Could also look nice on a simple cognac-brown leather strap.
I have the 4512 California dial with destro crown. Movement winds nicely, keeps time how I need it. Last time I checked around +6 s/day. I love the size, readability and that it’s compatible with a lot of straps due to the common 20 mm lug width. It does not feel like a ~500 CHF watch. I’d say get it. It’s just a pleasure to wear and I’ve got my eye on what they’ll bring next.
Thank you very much. To this day I feel the watch is upside down, especially with the crown on the left. But it’s actually the most ergonomic for wearing the watch on your left hand side since the crown doesn’t dig into your hand. But something just clicked with this watch. Was a spontaneous online order but I wear it a lot.
Not the cheapest, but great leather and quality: molequin.com, shipping from Belgium, made in France. I’ve got a few from them.
