Grail watch - now what?

The woman who lives with me - related via marriage bought me my grail watch( Cartier Santos ). Since then, I have purchased a few watches I wanted, and have shown little interest in them. I recently bought her a Rolex, and have become interested in an Explorer II. If I get one, will it stay in my watch box?

Now remove that bracelet so you don’t scratch that fantastic tool!

So this Santos is always on the wrist then?

If you buy an Explorer II, you should wear it all the time especially to the office!!👊🏻

I think that you need time between purchases to appreciate them. I can't remember what it's called, but it's known that the endorphin high you get from purchasing diminishes when the purchasing is too frequent.

For me, if it's an inexpensive watch then I'm ok with waiting another month before buying another, and I'm trying to stretch that out in the second half of this year. If it's an expensive purchase then I'm not even thinking about another for 12 months. I need time to enjoy what I've got.

FWIW I'd keep the bracelet, but maybe add a fabric bracelet as a barrier.

This woman… known only by marriage… is very good to you 😂

Great watch just don't ruin it with a bracelet.
