Before I deep dive into a modification, has anyone tried taking the original omega buckle and swapping it with a Staib mesh bracelet buckle? The Staib is the same width and is a diver extension buckle. I’m curious if anyone has tried this before? I think it’ll work but does anyone see something I don’t see? Thanks for your help.

I think you may have problems. The links that attach to the Omega bracelet do not appear to be the same shape as on the Staib. I am also curious as to how this turns out.
