Baltany Vintage S 182025

This was somewhat of a knee-jerk purchase as I love military watches, especially dirty dozen style watches. I like that this homage isn't just trying to copy the rest, and went with a light face with a beautiful pearlescent effect.
It's stainless steel, 38mm, has a sapphire crystal and a Sea Gull ST1701 movement. I'm so happy with this thing and I think I will grow to love it as much as my military issue CWC G10.

That thing is gorgeous, though that bright white small seconds hand does stick out a little. Still looks like a keeper in any case.

Yeah, I would have preferred a brushed second hand, like the minute and hours, but I still think it works. It really is a lovely thing; I'm very happy with it.

I kinda really love what Baltany are putting out, picking out some really classy reissues, at some ridiculous prices.
They do really great stuff! Read so many positive reviews. They've really carved out a great niche reissuing classic watches that are no longer in production. Makes sense.
