I'm a member at WUS and sell through the sales forum there. I haven't sold for awhile but have always had good luck. Many forums are also linked to Watchrecon which brings a lot of exposure.
I have sold a few back in the day on ebay, but if its anything in the pricey segment I just sell to a dealer. Every platform will see you take a hit and I would rather not deal with some of the associated hassles selling private.ย

Not a fan of Ebay and all the fees.
eBay can definitely be worthwhile but only if you get the notification with x% off their fees.ย
If not really in any rush could also leave them on Chrono24 and might get a higher price.
After selling a couple on eBay, never again.ย
15% fees!
I sell on Chrono24 and had good luck with it.ย

I sell on EBay and for higher priced pieces may consign or would sell on Chrono24.ย
Market place, eBay, gumtree and chrono 24.ย
all have positive and negatives. Just be aware of them.ย
