eBay is a showroom for this stuff. Check out the eBay shop from Time Titans. I am sure they have a regular web page too. Same guy who owns Welsbro watch/strap company. They have some cool vintage stuff to start you looking.

Yes the Omega 321 was basically a Lemania CH27 & the Omega 861 was the 321 without a column wheel & a higher beat rate. Patek Philippe still uses the CH27 today, albeit modified & finished to a very high standard.

I went for Caravelle which I think was essentially Bulova.
I have a Grand Seiko 6246-9001. This 62GS model was made in Seiko’s factory in Suwa. Separately there was another factory in Daini that made King Seiko. The thinking behind it was for the 2 factories to have internal competition. The claim to to fame of the 62GS was that it was Grand Seiko’s first automatic watch! That aside, this is also my birth year watch🤣🤣.
