New Gérald Genta
Who else missed new watches or even new brand Gérald Genta under power house LMVH. Personally I don't know what to think about those watches. To me they look old but somehow futuristic. I don't know how to explain. They will probably be in demand because of Genta name.
What is your opinion? Do you like them? I like dial colours, especially white and red.

Fine watchmaking, but out of reach of mere mortals. I’d wager that some of these elements will filter down into affordable watches within a few months.
The Grande Sonnerie, one of Genta’s most sophisticated watches, personally (as Genta-fanboy) it doesn’t really appeal to me. I prefer his retrograde design.
I’m going with “exceedingly ugly” here. I will say however, the market often disagrees with me, so people will probably fall all over themselves to buy these things.
They have a certain charm.
I am immune to that brand of charm, however.

The dial on the left reminds me of a Mr Kipling Cherry Bakewell Tart! 😅

I don’t usually judge watches, but this and the other one are just uhhh. I even prefer DW over these, sue me.

That brand/nasty rip-off I posted about is certainly not up my alley either.
Back to your post. Genta brand revival is interesting, certainly a few have made or are making a comeback (Daniel Roth, Frank Muller)
