Finally got myself a Japanese version SNXS and replaced the thick stock case back with a thinner solid case back (10.8mm thick now) So no 'flying saucer' ๐ Also upgraded with a jubilee bracelet which comes with link extension and flip closing mechanism. Surprisingly nice quality all round.

Solid caseback!
Good changes. Looks great ๐
Where did you get the bracelet?
I didnโt know they made after market case backs ๐ฎ love all the upgrades youโve done to it!

Thanks! I got this one: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004307812159.html. They also do an oyster style one.

Thank you! Adds a nice bit of weight to the watch as well and is well balanced with the upgraded jubilee bracelet now.
I got the same bracelet dual tone for my SNXS75. Decent bracelet with a very good clasp.
Where did you get the caseback? I need one for my Seiko 5 too.
I actually got two. One from a vintage 7S26 Seiko case and the other sterile one in the pics from www.monsterwatches.nl. both came out same overall thickness but the monster one more weighty and solid feeling
Well now! look at you poping on mods like you from pimp my ride!
Good mods ๐๐ป

I'm going to get a caseback for my SNXS75. The only upgrade I wanted.
Thanks for the link.๐ป
How much thinner is the watch with the aftermarket case back? I just picked up an SNXS

It's down to 10.8mm now, so about 1mm thinner.
I have purchased a bracelet from Ali Express for my SNXS79 but the end links did not fit at all. I tried reusing the ones that came with the watch, but I dropped it on the floor and it was lost to the ether. Are you using the end links that came with the bracelet or did you retain the original Seiko end links? I was looking at this bracelet on AE, but didn't want to spend the money if the end links didn't match to the case.

Sorry to hear your end links didn't fit. These fit the AliExpress 19mm bracelet perfectly. I just made sure it was the specific bracelet designed for the SNXS and all good ๐

Thanks, I will give this specific bracelet a try. I bought a cheaper one for my SNXS73 and reused the stock Seiko ones and it worked perfectly. Even swapped the Seiko clasp on to the Ali Express bracelet.

Def the best 'affordable' bracelet I've bought. Very happy with it and super comfortable.

Just got mine in the post today. The end links work wonderfully with the SNXS79 case/lugs. It has a nice clasp too, but can't seem to figure out the micro adjust mechanism. I did figure out there is a diver's extension, but I also see two sets of dimples on the inside of the clasp that look like indents for holding the spring bar to allow a little extra adjustment. Overall, it's great. Thanks for the recommendation.
Niiice! I have exactly the same pair and just ordered a second jubilee for my SNXS73. Glad you like it. To move the micro adjust, insert your bracelet tool fork into the spring bar and gently pull the bracelet out. It's a bit of a fiddle but it works. Its the same system as on my Explorer 36.

Thanks for the tip. I'll try to finagle it, but if it means I might scratch the finish I'll just leave it be.

Hello there, @Iluvhomages.
Made a short vifeo on how to adjust the deployant micro-adjust on the aliexpress jubilee.
I purchased one for my SNXS as a bracelet upgrade but the clasp was too bulky. Still was able to adjust the micro. Hope the short vid helps.
Cheers. https://youtu.be/4qgZKEkkIZ8

Thanks for the tutorial! I'll have to try that when I get home. I don't have any of my watch tools in my office here at work.

Hi Speedbird,
From monsterwatches, did you select the high when you purchase the caseback?

I chose the low one and fitted great.
