Hi all, I have an old MTP-1247 that my dad gifted me nearly 10 years ago. It has a lot of sentimental value to me. Recently, I noticed that the bracelet was too tight and I had lost the links long ago (it was adjusted to my wrist in 2013). Please suggest any strap recommendations that can fit the watch. It has a protrusion (lack of a better word) which makes most of the straps unusable unless I decide to cut/alter them by hand. All suggestions appreciated :)

Damn, that's a hard case to match.
To be honest I think that you should get 2000s style bracelet to match your case.
Your best bet would be a large railroad style bracelet. You'll be able to find a few on eBay. Good luck.
As wasteful as I consider this, I'm seeing new versions of this model for sale on Amazon for little over $50. Cannibalization is economically feasible. If you can find a used parts model on ebay or something, all the better.

Thanks! I tried my best but couldn’t find any strap that fits. Will see if I can cut into a leather strap or something

Thanks a lot for the idea! Will get one and keep for spares
