Watch box boxing box box!

So, here I am boxing up my watch boxes in a box. A box of boxes.

It was a good exercise as it made me reconsider what boxes I wanted to keep and why.

I'd love to hear what your criteria is for choosing what boxes to keep and not keep. Is it just based on potential resale for instance? How fancy does a box need to be to keep it?

I keep all of them and have no idea why. Supposedly for selling my watches but I don't let go of any of my watches, so they're just stacking up in my closet. 🤣

I’m a hoarder, so as long as there’s a place for it, it’ll stay put. 🤣😂

I also like looking at others watch box collection and wondering what watches they have.

The only one I've let go is a G-Shock tin. They fo take up a lot of room though, especially from brands like Omega and Zenith. I prefer where the packaging comes with a useful watch case (like Hanhart). My wife's Breitling came in nice packaging, classy but all recycled and folds flat for storage.

I keep the boxes because I only have 12 watch case for display so some get stored with the box and it’s also where I leave the extra links and warranty card.

All of it is in my closet which I was gonna organize soon!
