Rolex AD

Yesterday went to my local AD to find out about process of getting onto a list. Was a very great experience, dealt with a salesmen have used buying previous watches. Tried on some watches and came down to a few that liked. Put my name down for a time frame of next summer or after. Overall was a very great experience. I think it all comes down to the relationship that you cultivate earlier.

Which watches did you get put on a list for?

Good luck, your going to need it. Most ADs will throw your details in the trash unless you have a long purchase history with them.

"Cultivating a relationship" to give someone money for a commodity item is stupid.

Too bad I can only rate this “on target” only once. It’s beyond ridiculous that both sides play this game.

Just goes to show you cannot judge all Rolex AD the same ,I visited quite a few and the majority were very professional,I even got a 41mm datejust after 4 months with out buying a watch from them for 10yrs

I have only bought 1 watch one watch off him and it wasn't an expensive piece and have only bought 2 in the store in a year and a half. I have talked a few times when in browsing. I was never building a relationship to buy a Rolex as I never thought would be in position to buy one. This store doesn't work on commission but I always ask for him as he is a nice human being

Two oyster perpetual, thr one I really want, the Celebration and a black dial one. Also really like how the Air King looked in my wrist so it went on list as well. He said tje haven't seena Celebration yet so he said it is a very hard watch to come buy. The other 2 he said could see in just a few months. I actually have a time frame of late summer next year that I would be willing purchase, so will wait and see what happens.
