I wouldn't unless the company has statements and guarantees backing it as a swimming and ocean capable watch. I would email them to get a written response.
I've got a ton too, but they're mostly inexpensive straps I bought just to see what I like and what the basic differences are.
Good to know! I like a longer strap and surf regularly (although I usually slip it under the suit cuff so it doesn't fall off).

I'd rather not get into the whole 1st word vs 3rd world product pricing debate. I think we can just leave it at "hi-end" as in either case there will be better and worse levels of products.
If it's a higher level of quality in material and craftsmanship, I'm interested. 🤙
