Bracelet or strap and what style?

I am looking for your suggestions, everyone. I have this older Tissot for which I want to put on a new bracelet or strap. The watch is a unique style in which it combines a gold segmented bezel with a stainless case and, of course, that stunning blue dial with gold hardware.

It is a Seastar, but the design seems confused between being a dress watch and a sports watch. This is why I have struggled to find an appropriate bracelet or band/strap. I have worn it on leather, and it didn't look great. The bracelet it came with is ok, but it clashes with the design, as you can somewhat see in the photo. I've put on a fabric strap, which didn't look good either.

So, what do you all think? I know there are many styles, and I'm willing to try out your suggestions. I am looking forward to your help getting this Tissot back in rotation. 🍻

I have enjoyed the contrast between a rich blue dial and a lighter leather strap; a caramel, tan, khaki or sand colored strap contrasts well with blue.

Check out Forstner.  A little on the pricey side, but have a solid vintage vibe.
