My first post SOTC 2023
Hi Crunchers, Merry Christmas!
My first post and SOTC. More than a hundred watches came and left since my watch collection journey in 2020, and at the end of 2023 I felt that I had nearly reached a perfect collection for myself (maybe with some minor changes moving forward...).
The main collection:
Rolex Submariner date 41, Rolex Datejust 41 white roman, Tudor Black Bay 41 Burgundy METAS, Tudor Pelagos FXD, Cartier Santos large ADLC, Panerai Radiomior Quaranta Pam1386, Omega Moonwatch Speedmaster Professional 3861, IWC Mark XX, Glashutte Original SeaQ 39mm, Grand Seiko Taisetsu SBGA415.
Affordables and non in-house movt:
Farer Durham, Baltic Aquascaphe bronze, Anordian Model 1 medium, Tag Heuer Aquaracer 41, Seiko Alpinist SPB289, Sinn 556 aquamarine LE, Studio Underd0g mint ch0c chip, Brew Metric retro.
But your advice is needed😎! I am interested in Longines new release of Legend Diver 39mm, and I am considering replacing one of my two Tudors with it. So the question is should I get the black dial one to replace the BB Burgundy, or the blue dial one to replace the Pelagos? What are your thoughts on this, if not changing the rest of my collection?

Nice collection! Don't think you need to add anything. Santos and GO stand out for me. Also like the Anordain and Farer are both sharp too!
That is a lot of collecting and trading in 3 years! But you current collection is totally solid and more importantly IMO - diverse. Keep enjoying collecting and have a great 2024!

I'm not a fan of the BB but for your collection if you want to get the black dial I would get rid of the GO I like the extra bit of colour the BB adds.

Thanks. Santos and GO are actually my most worn watches, they are really outstanding. You are right, maybe I just need to stop swapping and enjoy what I have for a while.

Thanks for your suggestion. I like the unique colour of BB 41 but GO for me is the watch at the next level. I kind of replaced my BB 58 with the GO as an "upgrade". But I got what you mean, both watches somehow have a similar vintage vibe and maybe I only need to keep one.

Thanks. As I mentioned, the Longines Legend Diver 39 would be on the top of the list, or I may want to find a GMT as I don't have one in my collection.

That's what bothers me now, I really like the Pelagos. I may end up not changing my collection at all because I am quite happy with what I have now. Thanks.
