Finally Hunted Her Down
First time in Japan and of course I had to do some watch shopping. I had been admiring the Shunbun from afar for sometime now. It took 6 shops including multiple large boutiques and the official store in Tokyo, learning she was all but sold out, before I finally found her in a tiny store in Yokohama. I couldn’t be happier with my first Grand Seiko. What a masterpiece! Anyone have their own “purchasing abroad” story they want to share? Feel free to leave it down below.

I love my GS spring drive, it simply oozes quality. The only slight let down I find, is the clasp.

I was worried about getting a good fit and the general quality of the GS bracelet as I’ve heard others complain about it, but so far it’s wearing like a dream (only a day in 😂). The clasp and bracelet feel high quality.

They are excellent quality! But no micro adjustment for me makes it useless but it’s a total strap monster so 🤷♂️
I may have bought the last one in Tokyo on 25 Feb… while I was staying in Yokohama. I had a similar experience where I went shop to shop to find it. Glad you still managed to find one! It’s gorgeous!
