Coming up this month will be my 20th birthday, as well as my polytechnic graduation. What better excuse to buy myself a watch to celebrate? I have been eyeing the Longines Spirit 37mm leading up to a year now, but before i pull the trigger, i would like to get some other opinions from you crunchers. Here are what im looking for:
Less than $2000 usd
USED, to save myself some depreciation compared to buying new
Traditional 3 hander, looking for more of a GADA style watch ( i already have a diver and a semi-dress watch)
Open to mechanical/quartz, but prefer mechanical
Prefer a blue dial for this purchase, but not hard set on it
I usually dress smart casual/casual (nice polo/t shirt with some dress trousers). Nothing too fancy/ streetwear
If you have any input please let me know! Thank you!

Honestly hard to compete with. Those are gorgeous watches.

The Spirit 37 has been on my short list for a while. Pull the trigger!
That Spirit is beautiful 😍
Go for that if it's been on your radar for ages.
I paid £1300 for my Quartz Omega Aqua Terra, so that could be a consideration too. 😎👍🏻
There are too many in the gada spectrum to suggest anything really, you'll have to narrow it down. I'll try anyway: Nivada Grenchen F77:
Citizen Series 8:
Formex Essence:
Monta Noble
I'm like a broken clock here, but the Formex Essence 39 is the ultimate everyday watch, IMHO.
Would you consider black? I'd suggest looking at Grand Seiko, seems to meet all your other criteria, these are both listed on Chrono24 right now for under $2k:
SBGR057
SBGR023
Magnificent watch. I want one too!
