Showroom visit at Fears Watches in Bristol

With the train strikes going on today in the UK, I found myself stranded in Bristol for two days and this morning it dawned on me; I could visit Fears! Luckily I could book an appointment in their showroom the same day. I was particularly interested in the Brunswick 38 models and they did not disappoint. I am a sucker for three handers, mid century inspired designs and sub dials for the seconds hand, so a lot of boxes were ticked here! The mallard green dial is a boutique only model and is just fantastic. They have just made some updates on the Brunswick models, so check them out! No purchase for me today, but definitely candidates for the future!

Thank you Richard and Tom for the warm welcome!

The green looks awesome👍

Alls not lost even with the strikes (its 'scuppered' our weekend plans as well) glad you've found something very nice to do. They're a great brand and make some lovely watches (as you well know with that lovely vintagey tank style watch). I take it that's where your moored up at the moment.

Yes! No loss here, Bristol is lovely! Flying home on Sunday.

Adding this to excuses to tell my wife "But honey the trains were down in Bristol!".

Salmon and green dial look great. I read or saw that a customer commissioned a Platinum Fears model $$. Great looking watches.

I’ve been eyeing the blue Brunswick for a time now, but that mallard green is beautiful. Thanks for sharing your visit.
