Seiko 66A

I’m fairly new to watch making/restoring. Today I’ve successfully finished rebuilding my first Seiko (a recent market find). It’s such a good feeling when that balance kicks into action. Hooked know.

Excellent, must give you a real sense of achievement! How is it running?

I don’t have a timegrapher but so far it’s running fine. Onto the case work next.

It’s Amazing when you succeed in taking a movement apart and putting back together how you get locked in the possibility of a full service of cleaning oiling and reassembling for a hobby

I have certainly taken my time learning with ling breaks but I want to get to the point of being able to do a full service.

Good luck with your skill development

Awesome post! 🤩

Thank you for sharing this with us

Keep up the good work 🙌🏾
