Before I get into my unhinged tirade about why a quartz tag knockoff from the early 2000s is really the sleeper value of the millennium, let's take a look at what Disney villain would wear my watch proudly.

I have no doubt that Sid from Toy Story would rock this, most likely with a bunch of edgy wrist bands stuffed onto his wrist beside it. After all, I was gifted the watch when I was but a preteen s#!?lord myself.

Now to my rant. I'm supposed to tell you this watch is "God tier", like any casio in a Nico Leonard video. Your Explorers and Grand Seikos should quake before its folded link bracelet and crunchy 90-click bezel.

I'm just not great at boasting. I have a deeply held belief that bragging about your prematurly-assured victory will only ensure your downfall.

This watch has some great features about it, don't get me wrong. It has 100 meters water resistance, a pretty copper gradient dial, and day and date subdials. All for an insanely cheap price. Fossil also used to carry one of the best warranties you'll ever find (eleven years from date of purchase) and covered a smashed crystal, new movement, and bracelet repair after I slipped in a cooler and smashed it like a dumbass.

None of that has a thing to do with winning the challenge. My will and connection to the watch will carry me as far as I go, and those are nothing to sneeze at. I wore this watch every day to school as a kid. I used to hide quarters under the bracelet to do magic tricks for my girlfriend (I was a lousy magician, it didn't last long).
