IIcohow-wowyp round two! (8/8) Casio Royale vs. Serica 4512

If I could only have one watch - which one would you chose? All the digital functions or analogue time only? Casio Royale (42mm) You all know the score - this watch is 30 € and it can do all the things! Alarms, timezones, stopwatch and a design that looks so retro futuristic chic! You can wear it while digging holes in the garden or wear it ironically while using your vintage film camera. It looks out of it's element in almost every situation and this paradoxically makes it a great GADA watch. It's one of those affordable watches I bought because it would seem stupid not to have one. Serica 4512 (37.5mm) When I saw pictures of this watch pop up I thought "hmmm just another standard field watch. Bezel and bracelet look odd but still". But then I saw the California dial with it's bigger negative space on the dial and suddenly it all matched for me. Since I have it I kept it in my heavy rotation, I constantly change from strap to bracelet to strap to bracelet. There are very few times when I'm not in the mood to wear the Serica. By the way, the STP/ Soprod movement is working, no problems yet. Which one would you pick?

It's not even a contest. The Casio wins just by being a Casio.

The Royale as I have one. Not very scientific I know!

I'm not at all sure about the mixture of numerals and not numerals on the Serica dial. Not my cup of tea!

Oooph. That's a tough one. But Serica is just a touch better for me.

I toyed with the thought that I'm wearing the digital on the daily and being a phone-watcher when dressed up, but then I remembered the size of this thing. Despite how that vertically grained flat bezel on the Serica annoys me, I choose it.

Hi, If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the bracelet for the 4512?
